Past Experiences

 

APS has been involved mostly in the projects in connection with :  

 

                        ·          Studies and supervision of marine terminal, harbors and waterfront facilities etc.

                        ·          Industrial complexes specially marine complexes.

                        ·          Civil structural works

Some of the projects executed by APS are as follows :

 

Civil /Structure/ Industrial Projects

 

·           Qeshm passenger marine terminal project in Bandar Abbas comprising feasibility studies and preliminary design. This project was successfully completed commissioned and delivered to the Port and Shipping Organization in 1996.

 

·           Pars Khodro (P/K) press shop consisting of two groups of seven, 2000 tons brake press.

 

·           P/K 35000 m2 industrial building with a height up to 34 m.

 

·           P/K fire fighting center

 

·           P/K centralized automatic paint shop (only conceptual design and supervision to the procurement of machinery and equipment)

 

·           P/K automatic chassis paint line (both civil work and industrial set ups)

 

·           P/K centralized compssed air generation system

 

·        Shahid Mahallati Shipbuilding and Repair Complex in Bushehr comprising  conceptual, preliminary and Phase 1 and Phase 2 of detailed design has been completed and Phase III of the project is presently under supervision of A.P.S.

 

·           Total Fina ELF Dorood Project in Kharg Island comprising engineering and supervision for the projects including harbour extension project , three clusters project and water intake project.

 

·           Arvandan shipbuilding and repair complex in Abadan for construction and repairing of ships up to 100 m length.

       APS responsibility included basic Design , Detail Design and Supervision to the contractor. This project was successfully completed in 2008.

     

      

     ·         Drilling Operation Support Base in neka

This project has been implemented for supporting the operation of the semi submersible drilling unit, providing an onshore base for feeding the VLCC vessels with fuel, potable water, drilling material and exchange of crews .

The scope of work at APS is consisting of :

·                  Base design

·                  Detail design

·                  Supervision to the construction

The cost of the project is 14 million USD and the project completed in 2009.

This support base has 250m quay wall with 9m draft & all necessary facilities for semisub & vlcc vessels

 

     ·        Strengthening , securing and dredging of existing Neka basin

The purpose of this project is to provide a calm basin by constructing a breakwater of about 300 meters at the extremity of the west leg of the existing breakwater which prevents the coming North waves from entering the basin.

This project is comprising of construction of the breakwater and dredging of the turning circle and jetties area in the basin.

The scope of work of APS is the management contracting (M.C.) of the project. the cost of the project is 14 million USD and the project  completed  in 2009.

 

           Ship design and construction

 

       APS has been involved in ship design and construction of the fallowing projects:

 

             ·          Market and conceptual design of a 27000 tones D.W.T. modern container carrier awarded to APS by the Ministry of Industries.

 

            ·          Studies and calculations of the survivability characteristics of the Hormoz 24, 25, 26 and Hormoz 1 passengers RO-RO ships (A/Amax) of Valfajr 8 shipping Co. These studies have been completed and checked and approved by classification societies (LR and B.V.) and relative A/Amax certificates have been issued to the owner in 1995.

 

              ·          Preparation of tender document and stipulation of contract for 6 multipurpose vessels of IRISL for IMICO Int.

 

              ·          Intermediate maintenance center project in Bandar Imam comprising preliminary and phase 1 of detailed design was completed and delivered to the owner in 1997.
